Fantasy Football Lineup Guide

2026 Week 1 Fantasy Football Start/Sit Guide

Use Dynasty Spec's Week 1 projections as the baseline for lineup decisions, then compare close calls with matchup strength, projected usage, injury availability, and scoring format. How Dynasty Spec handles a Start/Sit call

Projection first

Start with expected fantasy points and the projected stat line for the selected scoring format.

Adjust for context

Check opponent strength, home/away context, bye weeks, injuries, and expected role before treating two close projections as equal.

Compare the actual alternatives

A Start/Sit decision is relative. A player can be a strong weekly option and still sit if your other choices project better.
